I am not having any luck getting into any of the websites. When I copy and paste it takes me to my email. When I complete a search for them, it doesn't tell me anything about them. It takes me to a log in page. Does ayone have any suggestions?

I did some additional research and found that you can find some useful items on these websites if you teach K - 12. It looks like teachers can post items they have developed, used, or found to be useful in the classroom for other teachers to download. This could be a great way to find items that have already been effective in a different teacher's classroom.

I couldn't get any of the links to work either, but I just googled what each of the sites were and found information that way.

I agree. I do love all the lesson plans that are available for the students. I wish I had more of that in Post-secondary education. I have used high school science sites in order to teach my first year students about acoustics and sound waves.

I think all three sites are good resources for smart boards and interactive technology. I could see myself using all three as a way to show and teach information. I agree that there are times when we will not be able to create our own smart board interactive activities. These sites are also good for sharing information and ideas with other users. They would make using a smart board more efficient and fun for the students.

I think they could be very beneficial to teachers who do not have enough time to prepare a lesson plan. I have never had the stress of not having enough time for creating a lesson plan, but I have seen coworkers around me trying till the last minuet to create power points for class. I think these sites would be very beneficial to them in preparing for class each period.

I wasn't able to get into the links either, but as a long term sub in one school district, I was trained on how to use PrometheanPlanet so I could create lessons for the class I was teaching.

I found some information pertaining to the sites and think that each of these would be a huge time saver! The different activities available for the smart board amazes me, and would be a huge asset to a teacher, especially one who has serious time restrictions! Technology in the classroom never ceases to amaze me and it is crazy how many doors it can open for both teachers and students to find and learn new information.

I think that all three sites are excellent starting points for teachers. I think that it's best for teachers to personalize all classroom activities, and using pre-designed activities may limit their motivation to do this in some cases, but these sites can spark the thought process. I think that teachers should view sites like this as a ground for gaining ideas that they can incorporate into their own teaching repetiore.

I think that for new teachers starting out this could be a great resource because it gives them good examples of activities that have been successful in the past. As those teachers gain more experience and develop their own activities they can post them to their own white board for other beginning teachers to use as they get started. I know for a fact that a tool such as this can be very useful for days like Mondays when teacher might struggle to have all their lesson plans fully planned out.

The links did not work, so I did go out and search them individually. If I taught K-12 I would definitely take advantage of MIMIO, that was my favorite of the three sites. So many interactive tools and existing lesson plans to choose from to allow students more interaction and collaboration.
