As a football coach one thing that is very important to the sport and something I have a passion for is weightlifitng. Weightlifting classes are now usually seen in all schools as actual classes that students can take as an elective. As seen our nation is definitely not in good shape as far as being physically active enough and therefore obesity is an epidemic. Besides being necessary for almost all high school and college athletes weightlifting is a great activity for all students to learn about and take part in. With technology on the rise I feel like their could be some great ways into incorportating it into the weightroom for our athletes to help them train and for just regular students in weight training classes. Research and article that deals with technology incorporated in the weightroom and describe your article and give some of your personal ideas about the article.

Though I am not a teacher at present, I am an advocate for many children who have special education placement concerns. The children I see have a varying levels of functioning and almost all have a diagnosis of autism. How do you see advances in technology for our children and families who are affected by a diagnosis of autism in the classroom?
Please review the following article: http://www.centralmethodist.edu:2089/ehost/pdfviewer/pdfviewer?vid=5&sid=3640bf76-7916-4a1d-ad50-1f935f2ef531%40sessionmgr111&hid=127 Throughout this course we have discussed intensively bringing as well as utilizing technology into the classroom. However, there seems to be the underlying issue of finances for school districts, especially those districts who serve lower socio economic students. Conduct a little research and find out if there are any type of grants available for school districts who cannot afford technology. Technology can include anything from iPads to Smartboards or extra computers. After conducting your own research decided if it's worth all the work since filling out, applying and waiting on grant money is a long process. Is it worth the wait? Should school districts resort to other methods to get resources and if so what ideas do you have?
With the amount of technology use in the classroom rising, the possibility of a student being exposed to harmful information is also at a rise. Teachers and monitors cannot observe every click completed by students in the classroom. Filters and firewalls cannot detect every scam introduced on the computer screen either. All it takes is for a picture of a favored singer or TV character to pop up for a student to click and allow a parasite into their world of technology. http://www.toledoblade.com/Education/2013/03/07/Local-students-square-off-against-others-in-worldwide-online-contest-World-Education-Games.html One of the greatest topics of discussion when going through school is academic misconduct. It is and always will be something that is covered before every class that students take. The internet has provided students of this generation with more information than they know what to do with, and it will only keep growing. Anything can be found if you look hard enough, and it is very easy to use the work of someone else as your own. Teachers and administrators from schools all over have been looking for effective solutions to stopping plagiarism. Do you think that these tools are effective towards stopping this misconduct? Do you have a favorite tool to use? Why do you think it is the best?
As a math teacher, I find more and more that the demand for technology use in math is growing. I tend to struggle to find a balance between when technology is needed and when it needs to be left out. There are several articles out there that discuss the use of technology in math, find and read an article about math and technology and talk about the benefits you see from integrating technology into math and also discuss the negative aspects that you can see as a result. Also please post the link to the article because I will actually want to read what you find.
